How do I add binary numbers?

Add column by column from the right, carrying 1 whenever the sum of a column is 2 or more. 1 + 1 = 10, so write 0 and carry 1.

To keep the entry simple. The calculator shows each number in binary, so you can check your own working.

How is division handled?
